Doug Sprout
Finance Director, Finning Group (UK)
Doug is presently Executive Director, Support Services for Finning Group (UK) and has been with the Finning organisation since 1980. Throughout his career with Finning, Doug has held executive positions in a diverse range of areas within the Company including finance, sales and operations. As a Chartered Accountant, Doug began his career on the finance side of the business, serving as Finning Canada's Controller before moving over to operations in the early 1990s.
As Caterpillar's largest dealership worldwide, Finning has operations in Western Canada, South America and the UK, with Finning International being located in Vancouver BC. Over the past several years Doug held the positions of VP Operations Finning Canada, VP Customer Support Services Finning Chile S.A., Executive VP Customer Support Services Finning International and since December 2004, Executive Director Support Services Finning Group (UK). His business experiences both nationally and internationally, have provided Doug with a unique perspective on the industry in which Finning operates.
