The Finning Defence Group is responsible for the supply and support of Cat products to the UK MOD. The product range includes earth moving equipment, power generation and environmental control units. Full integrated logistic support is offered.
Solutions include power solutions to the manufacturers and operators of combat and logistic vehicles, naval propulsion systems and both land and ship-based electrical power generation systems.
In addition military vehicles such as armoured personnel carriers, light armoured vehicles, army trucks and wheeled tanker fleets have all used Caterpillar diesel engines. These range in power from 4kW to 7200kW. The company is also a major supplier of naval marine engines.
Generator sets, for both ship based and land applications, range in power from 50ekW to 5200ekW and can use either diesel or gas.
