Cat Certified Used
In order to qualify as a Cat Certified Used (CCU) Machine, the following conditions apply:
- Young machine (less than 5 years old)
- Low hours (less than 3,500 hours for BCP equipment and less than 7,500 hours for core and heavy equipment)
- Excellent condition with a minimum of 50% undercarriage and tyre life remaining
- Inspected and serviced to strict Caterpillar standards
- Sold with the benefit of a 6 month/1,500 hour Powertrain and Hydraulics warranty

Inspected and serviced to strict Caterpillar Standards
Each CCU machine is inspected and serviced by Finning (UK) Ltd to strict Caterpillar standards. An inspection of up to 140 points covers the entire machine from engine, hydraulics, tyres or tracks, transmission and
electrical systems to the finer points in the operator’s station and general appearance. Machines are serviced using only original Cat parts, fluids and filters.
Sold with warranty
To enable you to buy Cat Certified Used machines with confidence, we support each CCU unit with a 6 month/1,500 hour Powertrain and Hydraulics warranty* as standard.
Guaranteed 'work ready' condition
Each CCU machine meets a consistent quality standard:
- Most recent service complete
- Operating and Maintenance manuals included
- Minimum 50% undercarriage and tyre life remaining
- Scheduled Oil Sampling complete
- Ground engaging tools (GET) in ‘near new’ condition.
